We will now be taking confirmations until Sunday April 4 9.00pm GMT. If you are interested in attending, but still have not confirmed, we are giving you the opportunity to do so now. Please bear in mind, however, that to be included in a Street Team Session you will have to be a member of a Street Team or willing to join one. The Listening Sessions are for fans who simply want to come along and listen to the new music. This is the session you should indicate if you are wanting to bring a family member or friend along to. Make sure you register them as well. * Listening Parties Detailed Information * About San Francisco Listening Party - 10 April 2004 The San Francisco Listening Party happened this past Saturday, April 10th 2004. And as you should know this was the first Listening Party happening and so the excitement and expectation was above all you can imagine. This information I am bringing you is based on fan reports that kindly shared their experience with us. According to them attending to this Listening Party was an experience of a life time. About the album 'The Tension & The Spark': They say it's different from everything Darren has ever done in the past and it's different from everything you have might have the chance to hear. It's dark and it's painful. It's heart breaking and breath taking. But you can feel all the different stages Darren has gone through the album. And also feel a light of hope as you go through the different songs. It was given to the people present at the Listening Party a sheet with the tracklisting exactly how it's going to be released but they were asked not to share the name of the songs. There were around 48 people at the Street Team LP that happened around 12pm. And they were expecting 70 people to the late session at 17pm that same day. Leonie, Darren's manager, was obviously present and played the album to the fans. After that she also had conversation with the Street Team members about promoting the album and things that will be done to help on its promotion. Robert Conley that helped producing the album was also there as well as Darren's PA during the TCFT Tour, Sharon Millington. After listening to the album in its entirety Darren showed up with a very smiling face and visibly happy for being there sharing his new music with his fans. About his new look: Darren said he decided to change his look because if he kept wearing t-shirts and jeans the public wouldn't take him seriously. And the truth is...he looked absolutely stunning! Darren answer question asked by the fans present there and there was even time to take photos and sign autographs. Darren, always so kind and generous. I would like to take this opportunity to thank to all the sweetest girls that after the LP went running to find a computer and shared all this information and photos with us. Few people can dare themselves to discribe this album but everyone agrees in one thing: it's going to be huge. Apparently, everything seemed be done the same way it was in San Francisco the week before. Darren was there and so was Leonie. After listening to the album in is entirety and having a little chat about promotional ideas with Leonie, Darren walked in the room and took questions from fans and then there was still time to get autographs and pics taken. The Listening Parties in the US were concluded last Sunday at New York. Now there are left the one to happen in the UK and in Australia next month. There's not much new information add I think. Everyone who has been attending to the Listening Parties have the same opinion about the new music. Everyone leaves the studios completely thrilled and in a daze. And it was no different in New York. People keep saying this album is different from anything they have ever heard before. Very personal. Very intimate. According to some reviews from fans that were there, Darren said it is like listening to the lyrics of a diary. My dear friend and affiliate Keri wrote a wonderful review of the New York LP that she attended to. You can find it on her site All Around Darren. About Uk and Australia Listening Parties - 1st and 2nd May 2004 This time, it was Uk fans turn to welcome Darren at their home. Some days before the Listening Parties happened in Australia and in the UK it was announced that Darren would be attending to the UK Listening Parties. But even not having Darren in Australia, the fans in Brisbane and Sydney listened to the new album and enjoyed the Listening sessions themselves. According to some fan reports that have been at the aussie LPs, it was Tracey (Darren's sister) that was coordinating the session. His brother and other close members of his family were present as well. In the UK the excitement was huge! Around to 170 people attended to the London Listening Party, so the UK LPs were more busy that the ones that happened in Australia and in the UK. As you might know, Darren's birthday is coming really soon, so his fans decided to give him an early birthday suprise and he was literally flooded with presents and cards. At the London Listening Party, Darren was given his birthday present by the Street Team. And when he opened it he was surprised to find out it was an interactive Yoda toy. Darren was thrilled saying it was the first Star Wars item he would have in his new home in London. At the Manchester Listening Party Darren had another sweet surprise (and I mean literally sweet). He was given a Birthday cake also with the Yoda character printed in it. He was overwhelmed. And that's it. The listening parties were a success. Darren was pleased for sharing his music with his fans and he made lots of people really happy as well. A big thank you to everyone involved in this. A special thanks go to Leonie, Robert, Sharon and obviously Darren for making so may people's dreams come true. Some reviews and photos may be added later. About San Francisco Listening Party - 10 April 2004

The San Francisco Listening Party happened this past Saturday, April 10th 2004. And as you should know this was the first Listening Party happening and so the excitement and expectation was above all you can imagine.

This information I am bringing you is based on fan reports that kindly shared their experience with us. According to them attending to this Listening Party was an experience of a life time.

About the album 'The Tension & The Spark': They say it's different from everything Darren has ever done in the past and it's different from everything you have might have the chance to hear. Yesterday happened the second Listening Party, this time it was in Indianapolis. After the huge success of the San Francisco session no one could wait to see how was this one going to be.

According to reports from fans that attended to this LP, everyone had a wonderful time and once again, everyone was thrilled to hear to Darren's new album - The Tension & The Spark.

Few people can dare themselves to discribe this album but everyone agrees in one thing: it's going to be huge.

Apparently, everything seemed be done the same way it was in San Francisco the week before. Darren was there and so was Leonie. After listening to the album in is entirety and having a little chat about promotional ideas with Leonie, Darren walked in the room and took questions from fans and then there was still time to get autographs and pics taken.

About New York Listening Party - 18 April 2004

And that's it. The Listening Parties in the US were concluded last Sunday at New York. Now there are left the one to happen in the UK and in Australia next month.

About Uk and Australia Listening Parties - 1st and 2nd May 2004

This time, it was Uk fans turn to welcome Darren at their home. Some days before the Listening Parties happened in Australia and in the UK it was announced that Darren would be attending to the UK Listening Parties.

But even not having Darren in Australia, the fans in Brisbane and Sydney listened to the new album and enjoyed the Listening sessions themselves. According to some fan reports that have been at the aussie LPs, it was Tracey (Darren's sister) that was coordinating the session. In the UK the excitement was huge! Around to 170 people attended to the London Listening Party, so the UK LPs were more busy that the ones that happened in Australia and in the UK.
